We went down to Snowmass Village, Colorado for a FASEB meeting on Protein Misfolding Diseases. The meeting was interesting. I got some good feedback on my poster and met some very talented scientists including a friend who used to be a postdoc at RML (Andrew Miranker, Ron Kopito, David Borchelt, Jorg Tatzeldt and Ina Vorberg) . We were fortunate to have good weather and to have chosen a great route down and back. The desert was green but the heat was starting to bake it dry after a very wet June. The highlights were Arches, Dinosaur National Monument and Teton National Park.
